For those who glue up wood sandwiches for slicing into purfling and bindings, what glue is preferred. I ask the question because of concerns of heat blankets when bending. Thanks, Tom |

The bit that I have done has been with traditional tightbond. Definately softens with heat not to mention moisture, so I tape pieces togeter and bend as sets. I still just have bulbs for heat, not a blanket yet. Donovan |

Titebond here too, bent the purflings on the hot pipe and the bindings with bulbs and blanket. |

I prefer a Waterproof PVA Glue, As I have known Titebond to delaminate. |

I tape my purfling to the bindings bend them and install as seprate pieces because I find it easier to fit the miter at the end graft that way |
